Fatima Nanji
Principle Owner
Yaletown Accounting was established in 2006 by Fatima Nanji. Having worked in large accounting departments for many years, she realized that there was a distinct need for taxation help. She decided to put her technical skillset to good use and help clients – big and small – in the downtown Vancouver area that require expert insight.

Jane Swinglehurst
Bookkeeping Manager
Jane is a small-town working Mum with four kids, a husband & two cats. She fell into bookkeeping straight out of high school when her next-door neighbor knocked on the door & asked if she could help with the books for their small business. She went on to Deloitte & worked in the Internal Accounting Department before finding herself at Yaletown Accounting. When not working, Jane can usually be found at the side of a sports field cheering on one of her kids with a book in her bag that she reads in whenever she can steal a minute.

Jessica Moreira
Administrative Assistant
Jessica Moreira is our Administrative Assistant at Yaletown Accounting. She originally came from Brazil to Canada in 2021 with her husband. Jessica brings over 7 years of experience in customer service and administrative tasks to our team. She is passionate about helping businesses thrive through efficient processes and exceptional service. Jessica also has a background in digital marketing & is known for her organizational skills and warmth. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being surrounded by nature and the beach, exploring new places, working out, riding bikes and being a sunset lover.

Aziz Bhayani
Accounting Assistant
Aziz is an undergraduate student pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Simon Fraser University's Beedie School of Business, specializing in accounting and finance. With prior work experience in accounting, reception, and office administration, Aziz brings a foundation in organizational skills and attention to detail. Outside of work and school, Aziz enjoys playing sports and spending time outdoors with friends and family.

Katie Dunleavy
Office Manager
Katie came to Vancouver in 2018 after finishing studies in Dublin, Ireland. Throughout her time in Vancouver Katie gained valuable experience working in quality assurance, allowing her to develop a strong attention to detail and maintaining high quality standards. Outside of work Katie enjoys going for runs, travelling and exploring new places and catching up with friends!
